Instructor

I've been sewing since I was 15 years old. At first I was self-taught but then my mom encouraged me to consider a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics. I took her advice and added an emphasis in Clothing & Textiles. During college I sold sewing machines for Husqvarna Viking and then worked in a local quilt shop selling Pfaff sewing machines and teaching Machine Owners Classes. For a small stint after that I managed a bridal alterations room before sewing primarily from home. My recent interest is bag making, but I still make clothing, quilts and other small projects. I love to share my love of sewing and am happy to answer any questions you may have. Happy Sewing!
